Dear Leisure Pools:
After 5 years of begging, pleading, and having to eventually agree to a dog, my husband agreed that a backyard pool was an OK idea. Our oldest son (9) has a life threatening allergy to peanuts and unfortunately with that comes anxiety as well. For the last five years we have been members of our local country club and every year our son is anxious about the snack items with peanuts that were being eaten while sitting by the pool. So instead of having an anxiety filled summer, we took the “plunge” into pool ownership. We purchased the Moroccan 34, through our local dealer, Akins excavating and have been BLOWN AWAY by the service we have received. My personality is such that I do not do well with even minor renovations. I was terrified as this project started. I soon realized that I had nothing to fear. Justin, Tabby and their ENTIRE crew was FANTASTIC. I know it must make YOUR Company proud to know what stellar people are representing you. If there is an award for customer service Akins Excavating should win first place. Here is why:
*They came when they said they would. ON TIME-READY TO GO!
*With renovations of any kind, you expect banter between employees. Unfortunately sometimes this includes inappropriate words, discussions, and even poor music choices. We NEVER heard any of that. From our viewpoint the entire crew treated each other with respect and most days we heard laughter and definitely a cohesive group. Employees say a lot about a company. Akins has hired the BEST.
*We live in Indiana- weather in the pring is a definite roller coaster. Even with rain- a lot of it- our roject was complete in less than a month. Our neighbors who made the “other” choice in pool ownership are still sitting with an empty hole.
*Justin and Tabby made their expectations and project very clear to us as well. Pricing, timelines, instructions about equipment were all very clear. I also felt if I did have a question or a concern I could call them.
*Everyone was so kind to my children and ALL of the neighborhood children who watched the project. Many neighbors also commented about the crew and their wonderful attitudes.
So, as I listen to the laughter coming from our backyard, as I see my son’s anxiety level at ZERO and as I step into my own backyard and feel like I am on vacation- I want to say thank you. Thank you Leisure Pools for creating a wonderful product that is not only built with quality but with beauty as well. I know you must be thrilled that Akins Excavating is representing you. They do it with the highest of standards, and the best service I have EVER seen!!!

My wife and I recently had a Leisure Pool installed at our home in Baton Rouge, LA. We purchased a 38’ Moroccan / Australian from your dealer, Casey’s Excavating. Casey Klein came recommended to us from a friend who had their pool installed by him.
From our first meeting with Casey I was very impressed with your company and what he had to offer. I researched your website and even called your factory with many questions. I contacted Mr. Wade Arcement and he was also a great help. I feel like you offer the best fiberglass pool on the market. After our second meeting with Casey, a week later, we were sold on who we would purchase our pool from.
Casey is a professional and made us feel comfortable in making our decision. Casey met with us (my wife, daughter 21, daughter 17, and son 15) and answered every question we had. He was very patient and knowledgeable of your company and his business. He explained things in detail and stayed in contact with me during the short waiting period before he could start.
I am a very particular person so I took a week of vacation to be home during the installation of our pool. It was impressive to watch Casey do his work. He is also very particular and a perfectionist in how things go together. It was very comforting to know how meticulous he was in making sure every step of the installation process went well. Every day that I watched him it reassured me that he had my best interest at heart.
When I make an investment of this kind I like to feel good about it. Our pool is now 100% finished and we are very happy in choosing Leisure Pools and Casey’s Excavating. I do not know how many dealers you have but if everyone of them is like Casey Klein you are blessed. He is a great guy and has become a very good friend of ours.
I have already told a friend about my experience and Casey is almost finished with her pool now. I will gladly give references for Leisure Pools and Casey’s Excavating to everyone I know looking for a pool.

I just wanted to let you know about the wonderful experience I’ve had with Leisure Pools. Confirmation that leisure pools was the right choice came when the driver of the water truck took one look and said “these guys did an excellent job and this is a good pool”. He fills many different types of pools and he relayed a story of a popular fiberglass pool company and the installer going through two pool shells before installing the third one successfully.
By the way, the pool looks great!!!

Good morning. I wanted to inform you about a situation that happened with one of your employees - please forgive me I forgot his last name.
This past Saturday (2/6/2010) Robyn and Duane came out to my house to discuss the possibility of installing a pool. While evaluating the site, Duane noticed that our a/c unit had frozen up. He discussed it with us (my wife and I), recommended we call a serviceman and then offered to help defrost it - even though it was cold and wet outside. We did get the serviceman out yesterday and he is in the processing of fixing our a/c - which he said there would have been significantly more damage if it had been left alone.
As for Duane's presentation, it was professional and well done - to the point my wife is sold on fiberglass pools. I have found lower bids for similar gunite pools, however after Saturday's encounter we are electing to hold off in getting a pool until we can deal with your company.
Needless to say my wife and I are thankful to Duane.

"I am also VERY pleased with my pool. I have had pools at 4 prior houses, and this one is the best looking one of all. I went with the Moroccan shape and the Australian Blue color = highly recommended - it looks like you are swimming in pristine Caribbean Sea water it is so blue. And the light kit is awesome - illuminates the whole pool, and has 6 colors. Jeffrey Holley (New Orleans dealer/installer) did a great job getting my pool in the ground, and was very considerate of my timing needs. He did a professional job, and took the time to explain the pool operation at the end of installation. He was personally on the job site each day work was conducted, doing much of the work himself. It literally took less than 2 days and the pool was in the ground and circulating, and within 2 weeks, he was essentially done. A major step ahead of a gunite pool, and the fiberglass looks better"!!
"And the salt water pool - it's priceless !! I am a chemical engineer and had liked to tinker with the pool chemistry in my past pools, but this pool requires NO oversight except to take the leaves/trash out of it - no lie. I check it every few weeks, and it never needs anything (sooner or later I will need to add some salt, but so what - it's ~ $8 as opposed to $80 for chlorine)".

Congratulations on your grand opening of the new facility. Leisure Pools is a great Company with a fabulous product. I bought the 34 Riviera in 2007 and I haven't looked back! Just wondering what the rock formation is made out of in the video? Is it man made or do you sell fabricated rock? I am interested in putting a waterfall in my sparkling pool. I had already done much research comparing the many in ground pool types available in our area, from gunite to liner and fiberglass. The fiberglass decision was a fairly easy one, but which one do we choose. I called all of the fiberglass pool contractors in our area, San Juan, Alaglass, Blue Hawaiian, Leisure Pools and a couple of others not worth mentioning. They all came to our home and showed what they could do for us. All were competitively priced, but one stood out from the others.
Leisure Pools is very fortunate to have Bill Hillman and his people at Leisure Pools of North Carolina. I am an Engineer and can be a very difficult customer, mainly because I am usually very well prepared before any salesman shows up at our home. This way I can cut through the rhetoric and sales ramblings and find out if this person knows what they are talking about. Bill knew his product and the installation process but wasn't up on the details involved with the mechanics of the actual preparations for installation. That is where Neal and his 2 man crew come in. Neal and his crew (James and Ed) are the guys that do the actual digging, grading, install and finish work. They were fantastic as was Bill and Joanne (Bill's secretary/bookkeeper).
As you know, every installation is unique and poses its own set of problems. Neal and crew over came some very difficult "underground rock" problems in our installation. The "rock" is solid granite, three feet down and covers the entire yard. One pool contractor told me it would cost $25000 additional just for dynamiting.
I can't give enough praise to Leisure Pools of North Carolina for our pool.. Oh yeah, the pool. We absolutely love it and can't wait for the weather to warm enough to begin using it. I will send pictures soon.
